Children & Family Ministry
At Trinity Church, during school term time, we provide specific opportunities for childen of all ages to experience worship in a way that helps them to understand and develop their faith and to help them participate in the life of the church.
During Sunday worship younger children and parents are invited to the air-conditioned Betty Creagh Lounge, where there are two screens, showing the minister leading the service and one replicating the screen in church, helping parents to feel part of worship whilst caring for their young ones.
Nappy changing facilities are available.
There are also toys, crayons, books, childrens bibles and puzzles available for children to enjoy.
For older children of primary school age, Sunday Club is held in the Parlato Room, with a big screen showing DVD's, leading into a children's lesson on the theme of that Sunday's worship. Each week, the minister introduces the theme to the children at the start of worship to help the children feel and understand that they are an important part of the service, worship and the Congregation.
Afterwards children have free time to play games (including XBox), with all the children's activities set in a christian context.
